Christmas Eve Day... One of my favorite days of the year for nostalgic reasons, and another one of those-kinda-days that you just gotta do something unique to create a memorable experience. Go Virtual Hike with us as we take you 1000ft up - and then back down (3.8 miles round trip) from our campsite to Byous Butte and the ridgeline - bushwhacking! - and spend Christmas Eve by the glowing warmth of campfire... 02/09/2008 Lower Two Bar Ridge Trail to Tule Trail - 
Tonto National Forest -
Superstition Mountains Arizona
 While the Tule/Upper Two Bar Ridge trail is a good trail for conditioned hikers - the Lower Two Bar Ridge Trail is NOT. Experienced Hikers only! Go Virtual Hike with us 18+ miles starting from the Campaign trailhead deep within the East Superstition Mountains, across Reavis Gap Trail, up and down Lower Two Bar Ridge to the Tule junction and back - for a rigorous hike across flowing creekbeds, overgrown to barely-there trails, and a HEFTY accumulative elevation change of 6,385ft!!  Superstition Mountains Arizona
 Reaching the Woodbury trailhead in the Tonto National Forest, requires a high clearance vehicle on just over 16 miles of rugged dirt road through the Superstition Mountains of Arizona. Go Virtual Hike with us 8.6 miles (round trip) on the JF Trail and Coffee Flat Trail - through rugged desert serenity to Dripping Springs. (photos by Nunya)

12/25/2009 Millsite Canyon Trail to Millsite Canyon Arch - Tonto National Forest
Superstition Mountains Arizona
 The 9+ mile hike to Millsite Canyon Trail Arch, begins several hundred feet past the Woodbury-Rogers Trough Trailhead sign. Go Virtual Hike with us through the rolling terrain of the Superstition Mountains at Christmas time - to bushwhack through catsclaw and scramble up loose rock to the Arch adjacent the Maverick camp, and views for miles!
