01/13/2007 Usery Pass - Usery Mountain Arizona

01/14/2007 Carney Springs - across the Superstition Ridgeline - down Siphon Draw - Superstition Mountain Wilderness - Tonto National Forest Arizona
The trail up and across the Ridgeline of the Superstitions leaves you wishing for one thing - a real trail! This primitive and unmaintained to non-existent 12 mile trail up Carney Springs, across the Ridgeline, and down Siphon Draw is a brutal test of endurance where serious injury is a constant reality with every step. Go Virtual Hike with us through this jam-packed album of rock scrambling madness that we unanimously voted that we HATE... which will leave us with one question at the end - "When can we do it again!" Goldfield Mountains Arizona
The golden multi-colored Willow Springs Canyon, located in the Goldfield Mts shouldering the Superstition Mts, was formed 15-35 million years ago by furiously spewed hot Volcanic ash. Go Virtual Hike with 19 of us through this gravel chasm of Sonoran Desert beauty (12+ miles In-and-Out, 1000ft ec). (photos by Nunya)

Weaver's Needle stands majestically elegant as a giant center piece on a well laid out buffet of amazing rock formations and colors. This is definitely one hike not to miss, because the further you go in - the better it gets! Coronado National Forest - Tucson Arizona
Romero Canyon is a pleasantly surprising hike, that delivers a fun variety of trail conditions, views - and of course the Romero Canyon pools! Go Virtual Hike with us 13+ miles (6.6 one way and accumulative elevation gain of 3,855ft) by cascading water pools..., up through to the Romero Pass at 6030ft elevation, and the fire damaged peaks of Mt Lemmon.

02/24/2007 Garden Valley Loop - Superstition Mountain Wilderness -
Tonto National Forest Arizona
This Garden Valley Loop takes you from Second Water Trail, and across Garden Valley to Hackberry Springs and back to First Water Trailhead via Dutchman Trail. Go Virtual Hike with us 5.4 miles through the Sonoran Desert and Lichen colored rocks of the Superstition Wilderness of Arizona.

This access point to Reavis Ranch is totally opposite the Rogers Trough trailhead. Go Virtual Hike with us 11 miles (round trip), as we take you only as far as the Reavis Falls area and back - for some really beautiful views, and an elevation change of around 2700ft. (photos by Nunya)

From October's apple harvest, to Springtime monsoons - Reavis Ranch is an excellent "local" Phoenix get-away for both a dayhike, or weekend backpacking trip. Go Virtual Hike with us 6 miles (12 miles round trip) into Reavis Ranch from the Rogers Trough trailhead, in the rain drenched Superstition Mts just East of Phoenix AZ.
